About

ExMormon Roadshow – Bringing the Best (and Worst) of Mormon Thought to One Place!

Step right up to the ExMormon Roadshow, where we gather the curiosities, contradictions, and contemplations of Mormon thought from across the web and put them all under one big tent! Whether it’s apologists polishing the golden plates, scholars dissecting doctrine, or ex-Mormons pulling back the curtain on the show, we curate the full spectrum of perspectives—so you don’t have to go knocking door to door.

From faith-promoting deep dives to faith-deconstructing hot takes, the ExMormon Roadshow is your one-stop shop for the evolving narrative of Mormonism. Some articles may confirm your testimony, others may shake it, but one thing’s for sure—you’ll never see the same trick twice!

History

We were a full-time traveling family—living on the road by choice, exploring new places, and embracing the freedom that comes with leaving behind both a house and a high-demand religion. Having recently awakened and stepped away from the Mormon Church, we found connection and community by hosting ExMormon gatherings wherever our travels took us.

Though our full-time road life has come to an end, our desire to stay connected to the evolving conversation around Mormonism hasn’t. To keep the spirit of the roadshow alive, we’ve transformed this site into a hub for the latest discussions, debates, and discoveries from around the web.

Now, ExMormon Roadshow is less about physical gatherings and more about curating the most thought-provoking content in one place. If you have a favorite site or article that deserves a spot in the lineup, let us know—we’re always looking to add more acts to the show!

Roadshow?

What’s a roadshow? The church used to have stake-wide gatherings where members would perform talent shows and other skits etc. It was a fun event usually, except for those who experienced stage fright.
